ECUSA's Teen Talent Queen and Donate2Dance Collaborate to Support Aspiring Dancers

In a heartwarming partnership, Gianna Casterline, the reigning East Coast USA's Teen Talent Queen, has teamed up with Donate2Dance to bring the gift of dance to underprivileged children. This recent collaboration saw Gianna donate 38 costumes and pairs of tights to the Youth and Teen Dance Company in New York, marking the start of her mission to make dance accessible to all young girls.

Donate2Dance, established in February 2018, shares Gianna's belief that every child should have the chance to dance. Their mission is to collect gently used dance shoes, costumes, and dancewear and distribute them to dance schools in need across the United States. The organization has partnered with over 250 dance programs, particularly those serving underprivileged children and those with special needs.

What started with a small collection of dancewear has blossomed into a global movement, reaching dancers from New York City to Ghana, Africa. To date, Donate2Dance has provided dance attire to over 60,000 young dancers, fostering a sense of community and support within the dance world.

Donate2Dance's work relies on the generosity of individuals, dance manufacturers, and dance stores. Their donations are collected and then distributed to dance programs in need, both locally and internationally, a concept known as "#DancersHelpingDancers donation magic."

The team at East Coast USA is immensely proud of Gianna and loves having her as National Royalty.
