The Fashion Event for Your Little Fashionista!

Lights, Camera, Action! Get ready to let us bring out the star in your daughter! This event is a hybrid between a pageant and a fashion show. Contestants will compete in a New York Style Audition, Runway and LIVE Photogenic competitions! You read that right… a live photogenic competition. We have hired photographers to photograph each contestant and the photographer will choose the strongest photo for each contestant to be judged. An even playing field for every contestant! Thousands of dollars in real couture wardrobe, photo shoots, luggage and star crowns to be awarded! East Coast Starz is about the runway and the couture however their are some additional perks to being a Starz contestant and winner! Many of NYC's top agencies, casting directors, designers and store owners are apart of our event. They attend our show to choose children directly for their projects. We are also contacted through out the year to send them children for live runway shows and other events. BIG OPPORTUNITIES!

In addition to everything mentioned above all year we host a variety of themed photo shoots and involve as many starz contestants as possible in them! Children have a blast and parents get free images to cherish forever! Unique beautiful professional photos and styling! WOW!

As always you are guaranteed the quality of East Coast USA! Top of the line staging, sound, computerized scoring, all score sheets returned, qualified judges and a beautiful professionally ran event! We will only be accepting 15 children per age group due to the complexity of the live photogenic shoots and to maintain a high level of quality for our contestants. The contestants will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. A deposit holds your spot and is non-refundable. If you register and can’t attend you must notify us 48 hours before the event to be considered to participate in the future. We are offering a sibling discount of 25% off of the second child's entry fee!

COMPETITIONS

The "AUDITION"
Let your personality shine! All children will meet the judges in an audition style setting. The judges will be talking and interacting with each contestant to asses their facial beauty and personality. The answers each contestant gives to their questions will not be judged. The overall character of the contestant is. Babies will be interacted with and shown other fun items to make their true personalities shine though! Parents will be present during interview up to age 5 yrs. Contestants should wear a solid colored shirt (t-shirt, button down or polo) color is your choice and denim jeans, capris, shorts or skirt. This will account for 1/3 of your Supreme score.

Live Photogenic
Strike a pose! Let our professional photographer capture the sparkle that is in you! Our live photogenic competition allows every contestant to be on an even playing field for competition. Each child will be photographed on our star set and the photographer will choose the contestants best shot for competition. Contestants should wear a solid colored shirt (t-shirt, button down or polo) color is your choice and denim jeans, capris, shorts or skirt. (The SAME outfit you wore for your audition.) Judging will be based on photogenic ability and appeal. This will account for 1/3 of your Supreme score.

Runway
All contestants will compete in our runway show! We are looking for straight runway modeling with a turn and a hint of the child's personality at the top of the runway. We will be offering a practice session before the show to help all contestants. Attire should be off the rack (store bought not custom made). Outfits should be trendy, fit the contestant properly and show case their personality! We are asking that each age division build their outfit around the following colors:

12-23 mos. ...LIGHT PINK
2 yrs. .............YELLOW
3 yrs. .............BLUE
4 yrs. .............GREEN
5 yrs. .............PURPLE
6 yrs. .............ORANGE
7 yrs. ............ HOT PINK
8 yrs...............SKY BLUE

13/14 yrs........RED
15/16 yrs........BLACK

Judging will be based on beauty, personal style and modeling ability/potential. This will account for 1/3 of your Supreme score.

Make way for the Star and her new couture wardrobe! Each piece hand selected by child stylist Stacie Fitzgerald. A rolling rack of gorgeous outfits for your fashionista! Only the best designers!

In addition to this amazing prize the star will take home a big rhinestone star crown! You will win a two look photo shoot with styling, all photos on CD by amazing child model photographer Nathan Yungerberg. Last but not least your child will be considered for a variety of modeling opportunities in New York City and other fashion opportunities!

28 STAR RUNNER UPS
We will award a 1st and 2nd runner up in each age division to the Star. They will win an award and shopping bag of fashion accessories/clothing chosen by child stylist Stacie Fitzgerald.

42 (14) RUNWAY WINNERS, (14) PHOTOGENIC WINNERS & (14) AUDITION WINNERS.
In each age division we will award a winner for Runway, Photogenic and Audition. They will win an award and shopping bag of fashion accessories/clothing chosen by child stylist Stacie Fitzgerald.

EVERY CONTESTANT
Every contestant will be taking home gifts! Every contestant will be considered for modeling opportunities in New York City and other fashion opportunities. Every contestant will take home clothing and accessories from our sponsors! We also shoot 12-15 elaborate children's photo shoots through out the year and choose from our Starz contestants to fill the roles! Parents get the photos to cherish forever!

Hair & Make Up
Contestants can wear light make up to compete including covering up blemishes, light blush, mascara and lip gloss. We are not looking for airbrush make up, eyeliner, dark lip stick or heavy eye shadow. We also recommend no spray tanning and hair as natural as possible. Mom can easily do this herself. We are looking for the children to appear as natural as possible as real child models do.
