Whether this is your first pageant, or you have been in a pageant
before, this is the pageant you have been looking for! The East Coast
USA Pageant is for girls and women of all ages and is a fun and family
oriented event! For children we offer age divisions for natural style
contestants (no make up) and for glitz style contestants. We also offer
a wide range of age divisions for teens and adults. At East Coast USA
you can expect a beautiful quality event that is affordable and where

Wee Baby
Miss: 0-12 months
Baby Miss: 13-23 months
Wee Toddler Miss: 2 yrs.
Toddler Miss: 3 yrs.
Tiny Miss: 4-5 yrs.
Mini Miss: 6-7 yrs.
Little Miss: 8-9 yrs.
Pre-Teen: 10-11 yrs.
Jr. Miss 12-13 yrs.
Young Miss: 14-16 yrs.
Teen Miss: 17-19 yrs.
Miss: 20-28 yrs.

All women may be married or single.

Beauty Competition
This event is mandatory
for all contestants. Contestants will do a simple walk on the stage. All
contestants up to age 13 yrs. can wear a short or long dress. Ages 14
yrs. and over should wear a floor length evening gown. Judging will be
based on facial beauty, stage presence and overall appeal.
On Stage Introduction: All contestants ages 6 yrs. and up will give a
simple introduction of themselves to the audience and judges during the
beauty competition. This will account for about 10% of their beauty
competition score.

Natural & Glitz Separation
For girls in the Baby Miss through Jr.
Miss age divisions (0-13yrs.) there will be two age divisions one
Natural and one Glitz. |
Natural
A natural contestant in not allowed to
wear any make up or use false hair, tanning, eyelashes and or flippers
while competing. Not in the beauty
competition or any on-stage optional event (Runway, Swimwear, Physical
Fitness and Western Wear). For
non-performing optional events such as Photogenic, Portfolio or
Composite they must turn in
un-retouched photographs. Natural
contestants may wear CLEAR lip gloss only. There are no clothing
restrictions. |
Glitz
A glitz contestant can wear
make up and use false hair, tanning, eyelashes and/or flippers in the
beauty competition and all on stage optional events. They may turn in
retouched photographs for non performing optional events. |

Supreme Titles
To qualify for the Grand Supreme and Mini
Supreme titles we use your beauty competition score and
your two highest scoring optional events. At least one of the optional
events used for your supreme score must be an on stage modeling optional
event (ex. Runway). There is no limit to how many optional events you
can enter. Overall
Most Beautiful is judged by the highest beauty competition score in the
pageant.
Remember you
don’t have to enter any optional events to win our divisional beauty
titles, but you do need them if you would like to qualify for the
supreme titles. |

Optional Events |

Runway
 This is a free style runway-modeling event. Attire can range from a
trendy high fashion "vogue" look to a tailored suit. Clothing can be
anything that you would see in a fashion show. Judging will be based on
modeling ability and overall appearance. We supply the music.

Swimwear
This is a free style-modeling event. Swimsuits can be a one or two piece
for contestants 14 & up but must be a one-piece for contestants 0-13
yrs. You may wear heals or go barefoot. Judging will be based on
proportional figure, fitness, stage presence and overall appearance. We
supply the music.

Physical Fitness
 This is a free style modeling event. Attire can be any outfit that
represents an activity that you do to stay in shape! Some examples are
aerobic wear, a sports uniform or a dance costume. Judging will be based
on proportional figure, fitness, stage presence and overall appearance.
We supply the music.
Time Limit: 1 minute
NEW RULES/GUIDELINES
We will no longer be
allowing flips, cartwheels or round offs in fitness routines. For
dancers we encourage you to wear your dancing attire and you can do
"dance moves" at each X however we are not looking for a talent routine.
This is a modeling event. |

Western Wear
 This is a free style-modeling event. Attire should be western related.
Judging will be based on smoothness of routine, facial expressions, and
overall projection. We supply the music.
Time Limit:
1 1/2 minutes |
Photogenic
This should be a professional head shot. Bring your photo labeled to
registration. Judging will based on personality projection, facial
beauty, overall appeal, quality and clarity. Photo sizes should be
8"-10" or 8 1/2" by 11". |
Portfolio
Bring your best 3-10 photos to registration in a labeled portfolio.
(Suggested you may have more photos.) They
can be on-location shots or studio shots. They can be head shots, three
quarter or full length. Judging will be based on commercial appeal,
print model potential, modeling style, quality and clarity. Photos sizes
may vary. |
Composite
This should be a card or one
page of grouped pictures that presents the contestants as a model.
Contestant's name, birth date, measurements, and contact information
should be included. It can be one or two sided. Judging will be based on
print model potential, creativity, quality and clarity. Composite sizes
may vary. |

State Program Book Information
You can enter the East Coast USA New Jersey Pageant for FREE!
Each contestant must submit a photo of herself with their application.
This photo will be used for the program book in the contestant line up
portion. Submitted photos should be wallet size (2.5 x 3.5). You may
also email your photo in JPEG format only to
Ecusa@Live.com
By selling ad pages for the state program book you can cover your
entry fee for pageant weekend. You may sell advertisement pages to
national or local businesses. You may also sell advertisement pages to
your family and friends as “Good Luck” pages so they can show
their support.
For each FULL page you sell $50.00 will go toward your entry fee. If you
sell enough pages to cover your entry fee any additional money earned
($50.00 per full page) will be held for you on credit for the East Coast
USA National Finals!
The contestant who sells the most ad pages will win the East Coast USA
Hostess title and receive a large beautiful crown, banner and a huge
gift basket filled with age appropriate gifts! If you would like an
information packet to get started, you may call our national office and
one will by mailed to you. Our staff will design your pages all you need
to do is send us the information you would like on the page and your
photo.
Deadline for all ad pages for the New Jersey Open State Pageant is
10/5/010.

Can We Compete in
Both Pageants?
Yes! If your child is 0-13 yrs. and would like to compete in the natural
pageant on Saturday and the glitz pageant on Sunday they may. We do ask
however that if your child wins the Natural Grand Supreme or Mini
Supreme title on Saturday that you help with crowning on Sunday instead
of competing again. (Money will be transferred to the National Finals.)
You must fill out two separate applications and send in two deposits.

Rules for Re-competing:
National Supremes and Age
Division Winners may not compete in any of the of 2010 or 2011 open
state pageants until they give up their title at the 2011 National
Finals. National Supremes are also not eligible to compete at the 2011
National Finals. National Divisional Winners may re-compete at the 2011
National Finals ONLY if they are moving up an age division or switches
their competition style (Natural or Glitz).
All State Grand Supreme title
holders, may not re-compete
in the state where they won their title but may compete in a different
open state pageant during the 2010/11 pageant season.
State Mini Supremes, Door Optional Supremes and Divisional Winners may only re-compete
in the state where they won their title if they are moving up an age
division or if a child 0-13 yrs. switches their competition style
(Natural or Glitz).
