Wee Baby Miss: 0-12 months
Baby Miss: 13-23 months
Wee Toddler Miss: 2 yrs.
Toddler Miss: 3 yrs.
Tiny Miss: 4-5 yrs.
Mini Miss: 6-7 yrs.
Little Miss: 8-9 yrs.
Pre-Teen: 10-11 yrs.
Jr. Miss 12-13 yrs.
Young Miss: 14-16 yrs.
Teen Miss: 17-19 yrs.
Miss: 20-28 yrs.
Ms.: 29 yrs. & up
All women may be married or single.

NATURAL & GLITZ SEPARATION
For girls in the Wee Baby Miss through Jr. Miss age divisions (0-13yrs.) there will be two age divisions one Natural and one Glitz.

NATURAL
A natural contestant is not allowed to wear any make up or use false hair, tanning, eyelashes and or flippers while competing. Clear lip gloss is permitted. There are no clothing restrictions. For Photogenic, Portfolio, Composite or Print Model they must turn in un-retouched photographs. Photos may be cropped and have lighting adjusted only. NO smoothing out skin/hair or adding/removing anything additional that was not there to begin with. LIGHT minimal makeup in photographs is allowed.

GLITZ
A glitz contestant can wear make up and use false hair, tanning, eyelashes and/or flippers in the beauty competition and all on stage optional events. They may turn in retouched photographs for non performing optional events.

SUPREME TITLES
To qualify for the Supreme titles at an East Coast USA State Pageant you must do the beauty competition and two optional events. One of the optional events must be onstage. For example Runway. We use your Beauty Competition Score + Your Highest Onstage Optional Event + Your Next Highest Optional Event. Overall Most Beautiful is determined by the highest beauty competition score in the pageant after the main six titles are crowned. (3 Grand Supremes and 3 Mini Supremes)
 

Beauty Competition

This event is mandatory for all contestants. Contestants will do a simple walk on the stage. All contestants up to age 13 yrs. can wear a short or long dress. Ages 14 yrs. and over should wear a floor length evening gown. Judging will be based on facial beauty, stage presence and overall appeal. On Stage Introduction: All contestants ages 6 yrs. and up will give a simple introduction of themselves to the audience and judges during the beauty competition. Your introduction should include your name, where you are from, hobbies and your ambition for the future. This will account for about 10% of their beauty competition score.

Time Limit: 2 minutes (Including introduction)

Optional Events

Runway

This is a free style runway-modeling event. Attire can range from a trendy high fashion “vogue” look to a tailored suit. Clothing can be anything that you would see in a fashion show. Judging will be based on modeling ability and overall appearance. We supply the music.

Swimwear

This is a free style-modeling event. Swimsuits can be a one or two piece for contestants 14 & up but must be a one-piece for contestants 0-13 yrs. You may wear heals or go barefoot. Judging will be based on proportional figure, fitness, stage presence and overall appearance. We supply the music.

Physical Fitness

This is a free style modeling event. Attire can be any outfit that represents an activity that you do to stay in shape! Some examples are aerobic wear, a sports uniform or a dance costume. Judging will be based on proportional figure, fitness, stage presence and overall appearance. We supply the music.

Patriotic Wear

This is a free style-modeling event. Show us your American spirit! Attire should include the colors red, white and blue. Please no props just you! Judging will be based on personality, modeling (ability to age), creativity, stage presence and overall appearance.

Color Photogenic
This should be a professional head shot. Bring your photo labeled to registration. Judging will based on personality projection, facial beauty, overall appeal, quality and clarity. Photo sizes: 8”x10” or 8.5”x11”

Portfolio
Bring your best 6-12 photos to registration in a labeled portfolio. (Suggested you may have more photos.) They can be on-location shots or studio shots. They can be head shots, three quarter or full length. Judging will be based on commercial appeal, print model potential, modeling style, quality and clarity. Photos sizes may vary

Print Model
Submit your best full length photo! We are looking for a photo that captures your personality and your personal style. Bring your photo to registration. Judging will be based on personal style, personality projection, facial beauty, overall impression, quality and clarity. Photo sizes: 8”x10” or 8.5”x11”

Model Composite
We are looking for a simple modeling composite card that showcases the contestants ability to model. We are not looking for digital graphic art or collages. This should be a card or one page of grouped pictures that presents the contestants as a model. Contestant’s name, birth date, measurements, and contact information should be included. It can be one or two sided. Judging will be based on print model potential, creativity, quality and clarity. Please email us for an example at ecusa@live.com  Composite sizes may vary.

Beauty Runners-Ups
In each age division we will award 4 Runner-Ups. They will receive a patriotic ribbon, $100.00 off their entry fee to the East Coast USA 2013 National Finals and a nice gift!

Optional Event Winners
In each age division we will award a winner for each optional event. They will receive a patriotic ribbon, $75.00 off their entry fee to the East Coast USA 2013 National Finals and a nice gift!

Beauty Side Award Winners
In the following age groups: 0-13 yrs. Natural, 0-13 yrs. Glitz and ages 14 & up. They will receive a patriotic ribbon, $75.00 off their entry fee to the East Coast USA 2013 Nationals and nice gift!

Miss Congeniality
Voted on by all of the contestants the winner will receive a Beautiful Star Crown, Satin Banner, Their Beauty Competition Fee and Beauty Side Awards PAID IN FULL to the East Coast USA 2013 National Finals!

Rules for Re-competing:
National Supremes and Age Division Winners may not compete in any of the of 2012 or 2013 open state pageants until they give up their title at the 2013 National Finals. National Supremes are also not eligible to compete at the 2013 National Finals. National Divisional Winners may re-compete at the 2013 National Finals ONLY if they are moving up an age division or switches their competition style (Natural or Glitz). All State Grand Supreme title holders, may not re-compete in the state where they won their title but may compete in a different open state pageant during the 2012/13 pageant season.

State Mini Supremes, Door Optional Supremes and Divisional Winners may only re-compete in the state where they won their title if they are moving up an age division or if a child 0-13 yrs. switches their competition style (Natural or Glitz).
