What is your favorite part about doing pageants? I love doing pageants because I love to meet new people and each time I’m onstage, I gain more confidence. Pageants also help me share my passions: fencing, theatre & Operation Smile. As a queen, I have the opportunity to help guide girls to be the best they can be.

Describe your feelings/reaction at your crowning moment: When the announcer called my name for National Novice Supreme, I couldn’t believe my ears. I was in shock for about two days after.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to someone starting out in pageants, what would it be? I would say don’t be afraid to be who you are. Show your true self and don’t hide your talents. You are beautiful inside and out. Be friendly and be confident.

One word that describes you would be? Determined. I set a goal and I work hard for it. Once I reach that goal, I set another goal and work hard until I reach that. What do you like to do on your spare time? In my spare time I like to draw & write lyrics to songs. I find that it calms me down and is a great destressing activity. It’s a lot of fun to draw something that only I can create. I also love fencing, cheerleading and performing on stage, as well as helping out behind the scenes working on hair and make-up.

If you could have one super power what would it be and why? If I could have one superpower, it would be the power to stretch into different positions, like Elastagirl from The Incredibles. I think it would be really cool if my body could stretch into different shapes so I could help people and make a difference. What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire because the characters are all put to different challenges, just like we are in life. They have to think outside the box to find solutions to tough situations.

What are your aspirations for the future? I aspire to be selected for the Olympic Fencing Team and graduate college with a degree in Psychology. I have always dreamed of fencing on an Olympic mat and helping high school students by being their guidance counselor. I’d love to have the opportunity to model on the runway and in ads as well.
