ECUSA Pageant Queens Walk for Hope: Honoring Lauren Handler's Legacy
KINGS PARK, NY —Royalty of the East Coast USA Pageant recently came together to attend the "Walk for Hope," presented by the Handler Hope Foundation. This event, which took place at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, NY served as a touching tribute to the late Lauren Handler and her extraordinary legacy within the world of pageantry and breast cancer advocacy.
Darren Handler, founder of the Handler Hope Foundation who created the foundation in honor of Lauren, highlighted the importance of the "Walk for Hope" event: "People should come to the walk to help us raise money for HER2 Positive and NNN breast cancer research. We are 100% a volunteer army, so all of the money we raise goes towards that research. We are happy to have The Chloe Belle Foundation present at our event collecting toy donations for children with cancer."
The Chloe Belle Foundation, created in honor of Chloe Lindberg, a Northport resident who tragically lost her battle with acute myeloid leukemia has a mission to bring joy to children and young adults battling cancer.
Lauren Handler's profound impact on the East Coast USA Pageant community continues to resonate, and her legacy lives on through the queens and members of Team ECUSA. By participating in events like the "Walk for Hope," they are not only honoring Lauren's memory but also working tirelessly to advance the cause she held dear to her heart.
