East Coast USA Pennsyvalnia Miss Spirit Queen, Mila Rae Robertson,  has embarked on an exciting modeling journey that began with her love for playing dress-up and flashing her infectious smile. After competing and winning a title at an East Coast USA prelim, Mila was offered an amazing opportunity to sign with the prestigious New York Model Management, the premiere print modeling agency in New York City. To add to the excitement, her one-year-old brother was also recruited, forming an adorable sibling duo in the modeling world. We loved chatting with Mila about her experience! 

How did you start your exciting journey into modeling? What made you want to be a model?

Mila: "I love playing dress-up and having my photo taken. It's so much fun! When I go to photo shoots, it's like a dream come true. I get to wear pretty clothes, get my hair and makeup done, and take lots of pictures. Thanks to East Coast USA, I got to meet New York Models, and they thought I could be a model! I was so happy, and they even liked my little brother!"

Can you tell us about the fun experiences you have when you go to photoshoots or fashion shows?

Mila: "My favorite part is having fun during the photoshoots. I have so many poses I like to do, and I love seeing the photos after. I've made a bunch of friends in the industry, and we always have a blast during the shoots. It's amazing to see the photos online or in stores, especially when I spot my friends in the ads too!"

Do you have a favorite modeling job you've done so far? Can you describe it to us?

Mila: "Oh yes! I love modeling Halloween costumes. They're so much fun! In my last shoot with Spirit, I got to be Alice in Wonderland and Wendy from Peter Pan, which are two of my favorite movies. I was sooo happy during that shoot, and I think you can totally see it in the photos!"

Do you have any pageants coming up?

Mila's Mom: "This was our first year with pageants, and it was such a surprise when Mila won Miss Spirit! We learned a lot at nationals and are looking forward to states again this year. Nationals was an amazing experience, and we made so many friends and unforgettable memories!"

Mom, could you tell us what it's like to see Mila shining as a New York Model?

Mila's Mom: "I’m just so proud of her. The way she walks into it fully confident and makes it as much fun as she possibly can always amazes me. She has such a positive attitude. Even if it’s a long drive to a shoot or we have to wake up at 5 am to get there, she’s always excited the second we arrive and ready to do her thing. I admire her more than she will ever understand."
